Regular Dental Exams and X-rays can identify oral diseases and problem areas within the mouth.
Diagnostic X-ray
This is a necessary step to help detect any decay, tumours, cysts, and/or bone loss. These X-rays can also help us track root and tooth positions. Screening for Oral Cancer Examining the face, lips, neck, tongue, tissue, throat and gums for traces of oral cancer. Evaluation for Gum disease Surveying the gums and bones for any evidence of periodontal disease. Examination for Tooth Decay Tooth Surfaces will be surveyed for decay by sanitary dental instruments. Existing restoration examination- Checking current fillings, crowns, bridges, etc. Bite Positioning examination- Determining whether your bite position is unhealthy and contributing to tooth wear, joint and muscle problems, and/or headaches.
