Cancellation & Appointment Policy

 

At Greenbank Family Dental, we aim to make every visit smooth, predictable, and respectful of your time.
These guidelines help us keep appointments available for all patients while delivering the highest standard of care.

24-Hour Notice

If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, we ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice.
This allows us to offer your appointment time to another patient in need.

Appointment Deposits
 

A $50 deposit may be required for certain appointments. This is always credited toward your visit when you attend.

When is a deposit required?

A $50 deposit may be required to secure certain bookings, including:

  • New patient appointments

  • Appointments longer than 60 minutes

  • Patients with a history of late cancellations or missed visits

 

Your deposit:

  • Is fully credited toward your appointment when you attend

  • Can be refunded or transferred if more than 24 hours’ notice is provided

  • May be forfeited if less than 24 hours’ notice is given

 

Late Cancellations & Missed Appointments

We understand that unexpected situations can arise. However:

  • Appointments changed with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in a forfeited deposit

  • Missed appointments may require a deposit for future bookings

  • Repeated late cancellations may affect your ability to secure appointments without a deposit

 

Our Commitment to Fairness

We aim to be understanding and flexible wherever possible. This policy simply helps us:

  • Respect our clinicians’ time

  • Reduce waiting times for other patients

  • Keep appointments available for those who need care

 

Appointment Confirmations

If we do not receive confirmation, appointment times may be released to other patients.
