"I’m just an open book," says Hannah Holthe with a warm smile, radiating the same warmth that makes Greenbank Family Dental feel like home.
From the moment you walk into Greenbank Family Dental (GFD), there’s an unmistakable energy—one of warmth, care, and connection. Much of that comes from Hannah, whose dedication to the practice goes far beyond her title as Clinical Manager.
At just 25 years old, Hannah is the eldest daughter of Dr. Dan and Tamara Holthe. She has been with GFD since its inception in 2020 and remembers the early days vividly.
"There were times when we had only one or two patients a day. Now, we’re on the verge of expansion again, with projections for a third and fourth dentist in the next 12 months. It has been such a blessing to have the local community embrace our clinic. We are part of the community."
But Hannah’s role isn’t just about running a clinic—it’s about building connections, fostering trust, and making every patient feel like family.
A True Family Affair
For Hannah, working at GFD isn’t just a career—it’s family in every sense of the word.
"At one point, I had two of my siblings also working as dental assistants," she shares. "That was so fun! You could just feel the excitement when we were all here together. Siblings always get along, yes?" she laughs. "Of course!"
That energy, that sense of family, extends beyond her own relatives. It’s a feeling every patient experiences when they step through the doors.
The Backbone of GFD
"We could not operate GFD without Hannah and her exceptional care and attention to detail," says Practice Manager Emmanuel Richards.
"She helps the dental assistant team with training, maintains ordering, scheduling, and handles everything front-of-house. Hannah has such a great bubbly vibe that everyone can feel when they walk into GFD. I'm sure there are times when she keeps the dentists on track too!"
And the patients feel it, too. One recent review captures the warmth Hannah brings to the clinic:

"There was a lady who needed implants, and she kept going back and forth to her car to talk with her husband. When she finally made the decision, she came in crying with joy, gave me a big hug, and said she was so happy to be able to have her smile transformed!"
She pauses for a moment before adding:
"Moments like these are so rewarding. Our patients are everything. I’m so grateful for each and every one of them—without them, GFD wouldn’t exist."
Bringing GFD to Your Feed
Beyond her role in the clinic, Hannah brings a creative spark to GFD’s online presence.
"I feel like TikTok is a way to help patients feel excited about coming to the dentist. It makes us relatable, I think."
Her fun and engaging videos help break down the stigma of dental visits, making oral health feel approachable.
"Creating them is so much fun! Yes, sometimes the girls are a little out of their comfort zone, but we always end up laughing. Many of our videos are actually educational pieces too—helping patients understand their dental health in a way that’s engaging and easy to digest."
Whether it’s a lighthearted skit or a myth-busting clip, Hannah’s social media flair helps GFD connect with the community in a whole new way.
A Passion for Caring
Before joining GFD, Hannah’s heart was in disability support.
"I’ve always loved working in disabilities. Growing up in Magrath, Alberta, Canada, our small town had a large disabilities centre, so it was an everyday occurrence to mix and mingle with members of our community with disabilities. One of my first jobs out of school was at the local centre, and I loved it!"
After moving to Australia with her family, Hannah naturally gravitated back to this field. Even today, she continues her passion outside of GFD.
"I currently work four days at the dental clinic, and on my day off, you'll find me working as a carer. I look after a 13-year-old boy with cerebral palsy every week. This keeps me connected to my passion for helping others."
Her compassion extends to GFD’s patients as well.
"I love seeing our disability patients coming into the practice. So many do not get enough attention to their oral health—they deserve quality treatment too."
It’s no surprise that Hannah thrives in the dental industry—at its core, it’s about care, connection, and helping people.
"I think that’s why I love dentistry, too. Everything we do is about helping our patients on their oral health journey. From the moment they walk in, we want them to feel calm and assured, and by the time they leave, they’ve had a great experience. That’s what makes it all worth it."
Looking to the Future
As GFD continues to grow, so does Hannah’s impact—both inside and outside the clinic. She’s played a key role in building something special, where patients feel like family and dentistry is about more than just teeth.
But for Hannah, the future is about more than just expansion—it’s about making a difference.
"If we keep building the GFD brand, maybe one day we can expand into a disabilities centre—something I’d love to manage."
Whatever the future holds, one thing is certain: Hannah will always be at the heart of patient care, leading with compassion, energy, and an unshakable commitment to helping others.
