Why early dental care matters
Healthy baby teeth set the foundation for confident smiles and strong adult teeth. Tooth decay is one of the most common childhood health issues — but also one of the most preventable. At Greenbank Family Dental, we keep children’s visits gentle, fun, and reassuring, so kids grow up confident about seeing the dentist.
What happens at a child’s visit
Friendly welcome — introducing kids to the chair and tools in a fun way.
Dental exam (011/012) — dentist checks teeth, gums, bite, and growth.
Gentle clean (114) — hygienist removes plaque/tartar, then polishes.
Fluoride treatment (121) — strengthens enamel against decay.
Fissure sealants (161) — protective coatings on molars if needed.
Home-care coaching — age-appropriate tips for brushing and diet.
Signature GFD difference: At GFD, your child’s clean is done by our hygienist, and the dentist performs the check in the same appointment — included, with no surprise fee.

How CDBS helps families
Eligible children (0–17) can access up to $1,095 over two years through the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS). This covers most preventive services, including exams, cleans, fluoride, fissure sealants, X-rays and fillings.
We can bulk-bill CDBS for eligible items — meaning no upfront cost for families.
